research problem

I am at the last 3 research elements of the dwarven chapter:
1) Golem Promotion
2) City Expansion 26
3) Dwarven Ancient Wonders
And I have received a bonus offering "NEW DWARVEN GROUNDS--Research Advanced Scouts". I did do a research item called "Advanced Scouts" in chapter 5, but there is nothing in the remaining research items in Dwarven-chapter 6. Can anyone help me?

Advanced scouts is in the treasure chest at the beginning of each chapter. You aren't actually "in" chapter 7 until you research and activate advanced scouts.
