Yes, I used to use it for Guest Race guides...lists and strategies/tactice/layouts and all that. But those aren't there at my level so I go to other places now.

AND, more importantly to me, I used it to import the waypoints into my predictive Fellowship Adventure SS. It tells you what you need for any route you pick...in other words you can try different routes and it tells you your score and how many of all the things you need to get there...as well as if you have the resources to get that far. It's responsible for us placing in the top 10 most when we try...but now I have to re-code it as the import routines took their data from egems. Other sites present the waypoints as pictures and thus can't be imported. I'd like to see that come back and kept up to date.

I always check in on Gems to see when the next steel tourney is, which is our big spire push week. Before I got too high in chapters, I faithfully checked the guest race tips. I really, really, really wish the higher chapters were listed in Gems, but I know how difficult it is to run and update a website, so I am not picking on you. But it would mean a lot to me if those were updated.

I did often check the events, but I think for me, the tourney calendar and the guest races (way back when) were even more important to me. I still check with Gems quite often just to make sure I remember when that dang spire push is coming, and how long I have to prep for it.

As others have stated, the guest race chapters are unmatched and it would be wonderful if the later chapters could get the same treatment as the earlier chapters. The events are fairly well covered by others now so not resuming them would have less impact. I frequently use the tournament calculator as well and would like to see it preserved. Thanks for all you do!!

Gems of Elvenar has always been an absolute god-send for me since I began playing. Thank you for taking an interest in preserving it. I agree with the comments made here--the Tournament Calculator, the Guest Race Guides and the Ancient Wonder Guide are all resources I have turned to again and again. If I had to pick only one, I would say please update the Ancient Wonder Guide. Information on what the new AWs actually do and how effective they are to future gameplay is very hard to find in the forum. Having all those "gems" in one place would be fantastic!

As alluded to by yourself and all the responders it is a lot of work. Maybe you could let elvengems become leaner and meaner by linking out all of the changing material on events and adventures to the specialists in those fields and concentrate on what you do best. This seems to be, among other things, the wonderful expositions of the guest races. 'Constructs' link is broken and I had to get to that page by googling. Also, links to the works on The Elvenar, Embassies, Traders need to be placed in your table on the main page so folks can find them. This will mess up your tabular symmetry with the Tournament Table, it can't be helped and it will be more helpful.

So happy to hear you're continuing! The Guest Race Guides are my favorites. When I first started, the tutorials and advise on city optimization helped take the confusion out of the game. I still refer new players to them. Thank you for all you do! It is much appreciated.

Noone has a better setup than eGems does as far as Event info,
in a easlily printable/copyable version , too....

eGems is the defacto expert, no offence idavis or tomatoHU.
eGems is also ... not the sesspool of viruses or data collection
that other 3rd party sites are....

yes later CH players like the guest race part..... early CH players
need the event and fighting parts of eGems.

I agree with all the above regarding your site and the information provided.
It is nice that the other routes (facebook, etc.) are available, just not something I want to venture with the info risk(s)...stress involved.
Even with web/virus protection...these days...tough to keep up.

I've come to really miss, however, your event information and format (Dawn of the Phoenix, etc).
Elven Gems...updated for live worlds...truthfully, it is most pleasing to the eye to read and comprehend. It's often very late in the evening or early mornings that I look for your lists and I'm able to enjoy reviewing the questlines...and keep the tab open to the game at hand. Yes I could print it, but it would be just one more thing to keep up with in game.

Also, it is the place that is recommended to newer players to "round out" the information needed chapter by chapter!

The task is a very huge one and demanding of your time. Hope that a few others will find the will, way and experience to assist the ongoing challenge to continue...Elven Gems of Knowledge.
