Activating Cerberus

I am in the early stages of chapter III and have trained lots of Cerberus but I can't see a way to get them (or gifted Orc Warriors) into battle.
My Barracks are at level 6, Armories at level 5 and Training Ground at level 3.
I would very much appreciate any help.

Did you select the training grounds? On mobile there's a selection at the bottom of the screen:

The browser version has the buttons at the top:

yes i've often thought it would be nice to have all troop selections on the same tab, so we dont have to flip back and forth to load up for war. but it would likely be too crowded and confusing.
