Advanced Units in low chapters?

I am not even half way into chapter 2 and this faerie unit is in the tournament on province 2 round 1. Shouldn't this be just mobs of weak fighters and not advanced?

Interested in this change too. Usually the lowest units occupy the low fights before any upgrades and last tourney did not have these drones flooding. Might be in faeries, but not a nice way to say hello...

Thank you for your report. This is not a bug, however. It is normal and expected that a variety of unit types can be present, even if they are not units that you have not unlocked, yet. They are not necessarily any more advanced than other units that you may encounter in those province types.
