Ambrosia collected and discarded when portal near full

Fairy portal held 899/900 Ambrosia. Day farm showed 40 Ambrosia ready to collect. Clicking to collect Ambrosia added 1 to Fairy Portal and discarded remaining 39.

Reproducibility: 5/5
Current situation: Game allows harvesting production fraction of Ambrosia by discarding unused fraction.
Expected situation: Ambrosia icon over Day Farm should be ghosted out if unable to collect full amount (or)
Player should be given a decision screen that advises/warns of pending lost Ambrosia.
Reproduction Steps
1. Fill fairy portal to within a fraction of the Day Farm production amount.
2. Produce Ambrosia at Day Farm.
3. Collect Ambrosia
4. Note that the unused fraction of Ambrosia disappears.

You can complain, but you won't get any satisfaction. It's also possible to produce Ambrosia when your portal is only level one, so you can't collect any of it and are forced to discard it. The official response was that "Learning how to manage resources with limited storage is part of the game."

Thank you for your report. Note however that this is a normal and expected functionality; as long as there is some capacity, the production will be able to be collected to fill it.
