Ancient Wonders-what is it?

I did a search and checked a few threads.. Perhaps if anyone knows of a thread or can give me some info on ancient wonders.

I don’t know what they are, but I have this tab at the bottom of my phone with it listed. According to the headings I have 5 tomb of secrets and 2 golden abyss. I clicked to “insert it” and my number went down, but I don’t see it anywhere...
I don’t even know what this tab is!?!

Any enlightenment?

As you seem to be quite new I would strongly suggest trying to earn the Tome of secrets first. A bit later in the game you will want the gold abyss as it is an excellent wonder but it takes several chapters before it is better than a normal residence. The discussion threads go into more detail about that and why.

Ancient Wonders are special buildings that have some interesting buffs for/to/with your city. Some, like the Tomb of Secrets, give extra KP. Some boost/buff your troops in battle. Still others boost your ranking.

The "insert" thing you're talking about is you inserting your runes into the rune wheel. You need 9 runes to complete the wheel, and then will be able to build the AW. Not every rune will insert though, then you get broken shards. Get 10 broken shards and you can forge a rune in any AW of your choice.

On the left side, you see a wheel with 9 slots on it. These 9 slots have to be filled with rune shards for you to build the Wonder.

When you click on the "Insert" button, one rune shard is inserted into the wheel. The slot is picked randomly. It if was empty, you should now see it filled. If it was already filled, your rune shard is now "broken" and goes to the "broken rune shard" pile. If you have 10 broken rune shards, you can click "Forge Rune" to fill one currently empty slot in any AW. This is guaranteed and rune shards inserted in this manner will never break.

Once all 9 slots are filled, you can click "Place Wonder" to build it
