My personal challenge of this event will be to finish it in all of my live cities.
In the past I never made it with more than 4 cities - This time it should be 8. I am still confident. :)
Yay! My seventh city has just arrived at the questlock - time to head overseas to the US again.
Always moving onwards! :)

WooooHoooo! I've made it! It may be a small step for Elvenar but it is an enourmous large step for me.
I've managed it to arrive at the questlock with all of my 8 live cities. This is my "personal world record" in event participation ever. :D

The dwarves in my US city are celebrating this by partying on their bouldersurges at Glido's place. :)

Edit: I can now finally confirm for live servers that the Red Forest, that is todays daily prize, gives RR when being sold. ;)

With two more dailies and quests I should get to 260. I have placed Glido lvl 9, so that'll make it fully evolved. Forgot to feed it this week, but will remember next week for the Ascended Goods.

Can someone explain the logic of this... ?
last 3 days of event. Quest unlocked is gain 1k spell frags. Quest unlocks the moment the spire ends. Spire wait is 2 days.

im not says there are no other options, but those options can suck for smaller cities or those without much left to disenchant. - That aside, it just seems like crappy timing to do something like that. And its certainly not the first time theyve done it. Or second.. or third...

I played it safe this time around and didn't get very lucky. I did iDavis orbs for the main prize except 22 & 45 as they had no additional keys. I won a lot of KPs, I wished it was something else but better than nothing. I got 13 daily prizes. I definitely hope that I can get another artifact in the next Fellowship Adventure.

the one over all reward that most ppl simply dont need... kp.
Both my cities walked out with about 200kp each from cashing it. Not counting aw kp instants.
The messed up part is that its not even one of those 'id rather have this or that reward' type of thing. But that this kp can actually be seen as hurting me. There is only so many technologies open at a time. And with the aw change, ppl cant afford to upgrade them. So aw's are just sitting there full. Every day more and more ppl simply have no aw's left with any room to add kp to. Thus the kp is worthless. Cant do anything with it now. And those, like me, that are down to the last few aw's and are trying to do them slowly as possible to stretch out the amount of time we have access to them... get kp 'rewards' which means we fill these limited aw's faster, so they get full, and we cant even progress in events any more. Wede be dead as soon as a 'donate kp' quests comes up.

So in essence... we have events giving out rewards that could make it harder/impossible to complete future events.... 0.o

True! But this goes for humans and elves that are currently not able to invest their KP in the research tree only.

Players that like to "race" through chapters for example, can take the combined benefit of additional goods gained by Glido and additional KP earned in event, to move onwards in research.

At least my smaller cities did so. ;)

Worth noting this point.
Last day of event. It takes 260 to get the 9th artifact for evo building. On the last day, only 5% of players have reached 260+.
Only 5% of players were able to complete the event and get the full evo building. Thus meaning that 95% of players were not able to finish the event and get the full evo building.
5% - 95%

Here are my final event results for my eight cities which all have completed all event quests and used up all their event currency.
I would like to represent my results as short as possible in Glido Stages. :)

9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 8 - 9 - 9

Just collected 8 goddesses of wishes, hopefully they might grant me at least a few diamonds.

Although I was able to make it to Stadium 10 on beta during the event without purchasing event currency, it always seemed to be intended to finish at least one artifact shy of the maximum if no additional event currency was purchased.

This way, the FA won't loose too much of its attraction. ;)

The basic principle of events seems to always be the same but I really like to win a new nice looking building that may be useful for my playstyle or not. If not I like to keep my unused pets in inventory, I think that they might come handy in the future.

What about an event where nobody knows what the event tasks will be because they wouldn't be explained? :D
Humans and elves would have to guess or to find out by trial and error what the quests are asking for.

Could be funny I guess and would probably be able to raise communication with each other in fellowships, forums and at Discord.

After scrounging around the city edges for a while, i finally got enough to open one more chest to finally reach 260 and get the 9th artifact. So even with completing everything, 2 ashen phoenix, email, and scrounging the city edge a few times a day... i jsut barley made it ; and at the last moment as well.

without the list form beta combined with how inno now structures quests, most ppl wouldnt be able to finish an event without the list. The fact that some ppl that prepare ahead of time still dont finish or come close to not finishing is quite scary.

I wouldnt mind a restructure tho. Maybe the whole system unlocked like ~3 quests a day through the event. That way there is something to do each day, but there is no pressure to get it all done right away. Less stress that way, i think would make it feel better. Its a thought'

I don't use the list and I still finish all quests and hit dailies anywhere between a week before to just couple of days before the end. I do watch though as to how many quests I got left, I don't want to have two quests left to do per day just couple of days before the end. That's when I would check the list.

its possible yea. One could use a lot of time instants to speed things up. Those in later chapters will have more tourney provs open for completed encounters or gaining relics. Stuff like that. But mic and lower chapter ppl and/or ppl in other situations might have more issues. I, for one, would not be using any time instants on an event like this. With there availability being cut drastically, they can not be replaced so easily. So i wouldnt use them on an event. Tourney provs for mid/lower chapter players will be a little more limited. Might be able to get 1-3 quests worth in a day depending on what they are and the order of them. Then you have to wait until the next day. - But then there are things like scouting, either for 'scout' quest or for those damn world map encounters. That can take 1-7 days per scout. That eats up a lot of time. And one of the few that actually will take longer and longer as you get higher in chapters. The switch to these quests with chapter specific goods; im sure will vary on chapter and set up for everyone. For me its orcs. And it takes about 2-3 days. (Now i have to change my city set up because of this.)

So specific quests are being designed to take longer and longer to complete. It might vary a little, player to player. But over all its a big increase in time taken.

I'm definitely not using time instants and never have on event quest and would never recommend anyone to do that. I did the same strategy with my small city too. It just seemed easier to do the quests as they come up rather than checking the lists and do complicated planning. Have you actually tried it?
