AW's upgrades should be instantaneous

Ancient wonders are meant to be special buildings. The initial costs are steep and unusual in that relics and Kp's are a factor. A lot of hours must be spent acquiring all of this.
It is utterly deflating to wait and wait and gather several hundred Kp's to finally get to the upgrade so you can then hand over more relics affecting your production to finally..,wait some more.
These buildings should be special. Getting runes should be difficult, the costs should be high- that's fair. It should take time and effort and action on multiple fronts to get one started and upgraded- totally fair.

However the periods between upgrades when gathering all the Kp's should be considered the building time and when you've accomplished that, boom-instant reward. It's like someone brought Great buildings over from Forge of Empires but ran the processes through a de-joy-onizer.

In the grand scheme an additional 20 hours or whatever are not a big deal. But it does kill what little thrill these things might provide. It's the equivalent of getting a toy on christmas without the batteries. Details like these are not to be overlooked lightly. Getting a great building on Forge of E is one of the thrills of the game that even long time players still get goosed about. Of course those buildings are all upside with the only drawback being size. Here it's size + diminished boost. At the very least stop squashing the thrill of getting whats needed to upgrade by adding more time. You're taking the shine off the shiny new toy.
