Ok, I figured out that this game is a city building game. . . and not much more. Perhaps, there would be value in having a variety of types of options within each building category: various residences which have different requirements and support the other game functions in different ways. In other words, more layers and variables. Residences can house workshop employees, artisans for goods utilization, Cultural specialists or parents. Goods buildings can have sales, take on special orders and designate charities to funnel support.
I would like the see more reasons for folks to play and stay playing.
