catering costs, Spire

While I'm aware of the google docs page, MinMax's calc for Spire...
Does anyone just have the simple formula and its modifiers' amounts ?

Remember, his formula was reverse engineered from crowd sourced data so it isn't and never was 100% accurate. But it used to be pretty close! And if you use the spreadsheet he provides to punch in numbers, the results have since changed. It was less expensive to cater now than his model projects. Therefore, his model is somewhat outdated, but I'm sure the factories he observed are still all in play, just in varying amounts.

These are the effects on fighting/catering base of the formula based on the latest version of MinMax spreadsheet (using preset values, Ch 16):

1% production boost: 0.13% increase
One mandatory research: 0.45% increase
One AW level: 0.18% increase
One non-premium expansion: 0.88% increase
One premium expansion: 0.58% increase
Crackie, I don't want a "link to a site" ....
Since this post was not molested, I'm just asking for
all the modifiers and amounts. Whatever the most
up to date info there is. Are these the only ones, which
are missing, do we know of any that have been tweak'd ?
We know how tempremental the mods are if someone
just writes an actual formula, that doesn't mean we cannot
see the modifiers displayed in a slightly different format.

You may not want a link to a site, but it's the best we can do unless we just copy the site data here. As for changes to how it works, it would take a lot of work and a lot of people to figure that out. Also, I'm sure the formula isn't how it's computed in the game. The formula MinMax came up with is the best we have. Here are the inputs to his equation and the equation itself.
  • maxB – maximum unlocked boost percentage for T1/T2/T3 goods
  • M – total number of unlocked mandatory tech items (research)
  • A – total number of AW levels (including currently upgrading)
  • V – number of placed non-premium expansions (including initial 6)
  • P – number of placed premium expansions

The CAL is multiplied by some value to produce the base squad size for spire and a different one for the tourney. You asked about catering, which I rarely do, but his spreadsheet calculates and produces an extensive grid of catering cost. I presume the cost are if you guess correctly every time. For a short while I used his spreadsheet and found it quite accurate for squad size. Since I mainly fight, that's what interested me. That was before Inno changed the techs in the lower 5 chapters or added the cauldron. So, I don't know how that affected the spreadsheet. Now, I just play and don't worry about it or what Inno has done to it since then. I have enough on my plate.
