Under the pictures of each hut it says “Details”. Click on that and it shows you building costs.

It only works on a single building, just like the other enchantments, and it will work on any portals, or else it would be useless for anyone not in chapter 23.

I think many are hesitant to use generous guests based on its rarity. From the description "Cast it on any main settlement building. While it is enchanted that building has increased settlement production bonus." In chapters prior to prosperity, portal productions do not get the benefit of the settlement production bonus (blooming trader's guild bonus is listed separately as ancient wonder bonus). It is the other buildings in the settlement which get improved production from the settlement production bonus, but the portal increases both its production and the resources required proportionally when it levels up.

Plus, it only last 12h. If it lasted at least a few days, it would have a much greater appeal.

And someone needs to do something about Elvenstats. More than 1/2 my city is chaptr 23 buildingss and thus the city builder function is totally useless. Our new owner could buy it (not working on it for months on end indicates it needs to be bought. Another mass exodus 'cuz we can't plan our lands anymore would be to nobody's benefit.

You must have meant elvenarchitect.com not elvenstats I guess? You're mixing up two completely different things.
Elvenarchitect is like ellvenstats too a player founded, owned and player managed webspace.
On DE they called them "fansites", InnoGames has nothing to do with these webspaces.
Please respect that the owner of elvenarchitect.com will no longer update his site because he isn't either playing Elvenar anymore nor willing to put further efforts in keeping it udated.
If you want your elvenarchitect to be updated you should follow this thread on beta forum to be able to upgrade it by yourself:

I know, the website is not affiliated, but it has been down all day. Any knowledge about if this is permanent, if the 'owner' has been contacted... On my non-beta game I'm in chapters 17 and done with 22. Those lands are too big to rework without Architect. Also, I help my FS mates by redoing...

That is really nice to read! Maybe you might be able to explain it to patty, just in case she should have any problems with it.

@TimeMachine I wish I could. It took me a whole lot of figuring things out to get it to work. I haven't worked with anything computer related since before I retired. I was Admin for a network and used SQL quite a bit to clean up data and pull data I needed that wasn't available directly from corporate accounting software probably 15-20 years ago. That is about as close as I come to understanding. Now most of it seems like Greek to me. Needless to say, this was a lot of back & forth to figure out how to make it work. Google was my friend I can use it now but how I got to that point is pretty close to a mystery.
