I'm a little late to this discussion and cannot find the beginning of the thread.
I'm just starting to see Eldian Sapphires but no idea what they are, what they do and how to find/get them.
Can someone please share some information.

Hello :)

Eldian Sapphires show up in the goods drop-down at the top of the game screen under Crafting.
Eldian Sapphires can be used to purchase Premium Culture buildings that usually require Diamonds. If you have enough Eldian Sapphires to purchase a Premium Culture building it will show a green button, and if you do not it will show the Diamonds needed to purchase. If you click on the "i" for the Cultural building it will show you how many Eldian Sapphires are required for that building.

You can earn more Eldian Sapphires by completing certain Spire tasks, finding them in chests on the Spire, in the Chapter 22 Quest to build a culture/premium culture building and in the Technologies that unlock chests at the start of Chapters 2 through 5.

Will the spire shop when it comes to us also accept Eldian Sapphires?

Until such time as one can buy anything other than 'diamond culture' with the sapphires, they should be removed. How about some 5-hour time instants instead!? Reason: one should be able to use what one wins in spire to progress and enjoy the game. Right now, the Eldians are useless.

If you are new to the game, try not to buy the diamond culture. Until the end-game, it is so easily bested by event awards and as it is not upgradable, you're just going to end up with something to defrag.

PS - partial roll-outs are not user-friendly.

I wonder what the story behind the Eldian Sapphires is. Are the created in some workshop or can the be found in piles of bovine droppings?

They are in the spire only as I understand it. Supposedly they are going to open a store in the spire? I hope that happens before the second coming.

Hello @Lemon Wren I'll post a screenshot to point it out. I am playing the browser version of elvenar where I can find that goods drop down menu on the upper right of my screen.

This menu drops down when hovering mouse cursor above that "Portal Profit-Symbol"

You can find Eldian Sapphire directly under Vision Vapor. ;)

Yes there is a one single way to spend Eldian Sapphire at the moment. :)

You can buy premium culture buildings at the Builders' Hut with Eldian Sapphire instead of diamonds as soon as you got enough Eldian Sapphire.

These premium culture buildings are marked with subtle white frames, like this one for example:

Yay by shreenshoting I've noticed that I've already won enough Eldian Sapphire on Beta-Server to buy me a Cat Theater. Got 200 ES atm.
Not sure if I should buy one because I have just arrived in chapter 14 - nice option anyway.

If you ain't got enough Eldian Sapphire for a specific building, it is looking like this:

You can of course invest some diamonds to replace missing Eldian Sapphire, if you want to but you can of course save them and try to catch some more in spire too. ;) In this case it would be 1,2K of diamonds to replace 80 Eldian Sapphire.

Ok, lots of stuff that can be bought at the Builders' Hut is not that good at all but one can use this "new" option, to purchase premium culture buildings without diamonds, a little strategical

For example as decribed above, my beta city has looted 200 Eldian Sapphire and just arrived in chapter 14. I will have to finish just a few researches and then I'll have the D310-a "Silo" unlocked - I will definetely invest my Eldian Sapphire on that building, especially because I ain't got no Maze of the Dark Matter and no Enars Embassy as well.

Of course those buildings are outdated after one or two chapters but no problem - I am looking forward to sell those for RRs.

Oh my, the builders hut. I confess I think of that as the advertising link to watch ads so I forgot it existed.

I did click on it, though, but see no buildings of any kind. It's just Production Room (first tab), Hobby Room (second tab), and Upgrade to accommodate more builders (although I bought them all years ago when I first started playing.)

So I'm still flummoxed. (I tried uploading a screen shot, but the forum said my file was too large.)
