Proverbs are sayings that expresses a perceived truth based on common sense or experience. Certain proverbs can be found in more than one culture because people tend to use words of wisdom borrowed from places they have a connection with. What would Elvenar proverbs sound like if they could borrow ideas from our world?

Let's make a list of slogans and platitudes that would fit in the realm of Elvenar. Here are some of my proposals:

• Rich is the city that the sun shines on.
• Look before you jump to the next chapter.
• Once beaten twice shy.
• Negotiation is mightier than sword.
• The more often you play, the luckier you get.
• Two cities are better than one.
• Some news is good news.
• The game must go on.
• Where there's diamonds, there's a way.
• Free gamers can't be choosers.
• A bad gamer always blames the game.
