Welcome, new fans and old, to my Event Scrolls. Todays' post, is about the second version of the Gateway Into the Past event. This is a merge style event, a game within a game. First of course, we collect event currency, by solving quests, from the daily award, and by locating Dwarven Chips dropped by excited visitors to our city. Once we have collected some chips, we will spend them in exchange for game pieces, that are found in the three cups located below the game board. This board is smaller than the last time we saw this event, so please, be strategic and examine the trades being offered by three dwarves, located to the right of the game board. They each want some specific items, that can be found, either on the board, or by merging some of the pieces. In exchange for your game pieces, they will offer you a chance at various prizes, one of which is the daily prize, and also some Triumph Gems. These are used as counters, to advance along towards the Grand Prizes.
But for now, that's enough. There is a lot of good information about this event.

This
Italian site always has the quests, prizes both daily and grand, chests and strategy. The information is well organized and it is typically the best place for Beta players to do their event planning, as the full quests are available once the site is loaded. Please remember to use the embedded translate feature on the right side of the screen.
iDavis detailed site has several ideas for strategies on top of a quest list and prize calendar that spawns daily as the event runs on Beta.
The Beta Fellowship
Platinum Leaf has a Google Document with their event notes. This contains notes, comments, quest lists, prizes, a planner for workshops and factories, and some strategy tips.
Folks as many of you know, I build my own notes based on the Beta event, and cross check the sites that I list here. I liaise with their authors to assure that you, the players, get the best possible support for these events. Happy gaming
