Dear Humans and Elves,

We would like to apologize for an internal error that some players are currently experiencing when trying to place research expansions. It seems that in some cases, these expansions are being awarded at no cost before the player has actually completed the research. Once the appropriate research is complete and the player tries to place the expansion a second time, the coins are deducted and an internal error occurs as the expansion can not be placed a second time.

Should you experience an internal error when trying to place a research expansion, please check the following to verify your current expansion count.

1. Original Expansions - All players receive 6 expansions to begin the game.

2. Province Expansions - Please check the number of provinces you have currently completed on the world map and then cross reference that with the number of expansions you should have already received in our Wiki pages HERE.

3. Premium Expansions - For players who have purchased premium expansions, you are allowed to purchase all 25 at the beginning of the game. In order to count how many premium expansions have been placed, you first need to determine the amount you have left (available) for placement. For example, if you have 23 premium expansions available for placement at a later time, this means that you have purchased and placed 2 premium expansions.

4. Research Expansions - Please check the number of unlocked researches that you currently have, including the one which gave the error message.

The total of these expansions (original expansions + province expansions + premium expansion + research expansions) should match the total number of expansions that you have in place in your city.

We do apologize for this error and we are working to get it corrected as quickly as we can. Should this happen to you and you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact support.

We have also received several reports of the counter for Province expansions incorrectly showing that players have received a Province expansion when they have not completed the required number of new provinces. Refreshing your game should correct this issue, and please use the method above to verify that you do have the correct number of expansions.

Again, we do apologize for these errors and we are actively trying to reproduce them so that we can get both of these issues corrected.
