Fellowship Events?

Ok first I am new, only been playing a week.
I know a fellowship helps with getting more people to trade with.
You need a fellowship- for the Spire thing, spent an hour searching for that, before I found the thread saying you have to be past Tier 3
and I am unfortunately not, probably lucky to be starting Tier 2 this quickly.....
But what are these Fellowship events, or quests or whatever, what do they entail, and am I even any help at this point?

There are no other fellowship events running at the moment. A new tournament will start tomorrow, where you can co-operatively clear encounters for a mix of individual and group rewards, and at some point a fellowship adventure will launch again, where everyone works on badges individually, then the group works together to place those badges complete way-points on an event map to get group rewards.

Ok I read a few different things, I am still not sure what this is. So even if I cannot access the Spire, I can do other things with a Fellowship that are Events and work similar to doing Providences, so Negotiating or Fighting? I guess if this is the case, my next question is, will I even be able to? Right now I am at a stand still for fighting because Im barely out of Tier 1, and the enemy squad sizes are 10 times what mine are. Although on that note I thought I was doing good reaching Tier 2 Research in a week.

Yes. You can participate in the tournaments every Tuesday to Saturday. Just don't go too far.

This weeks will start Tuesday early in the afternoon on the U.S. east coast. You find it in the world map. There's a "tent" icon at the right end of your action bar which will be greyed out currently. The first couple of provinces will be very small squad sizes and should be fine to fight.

Winyandor, I was trying to look through them in game. So not sure what Im looking for.
It's hard to get enough points to get the extra prizes by yourself, but you can make a fellowship of one, and then participate. You'll still get whatever individual prizes you earn.

That said, in the long run the game is about 80% easier if you are in a fellowship with at least five or six active people. It's worth joining one, even if only for a trial, becuase it gives you extra people to help/be-helped-by, and to trade with.

I can't help you in Win as I'm not on that world, Beatleguise. I highly recommend you join a *FS though. You can, as Ashrem mentioned, start your own FS. It will give you the benefits of playing tourney, but honestly you need to be in an established FS right now since you are so new. Getting help growing your city will make all the difference. I hope you will join one.

* FS stands for Fellowship

I will see what else I can find, I have found 33 people so far, which I dont think is to bad in 10 days. But out of those, I only see 6 names show up as visitors and they are all in full Fellowships, some of the ones I found dont look active at all. Anyway, Thanks for taking the time out for some questions guys.

Ask each of them. Sometimes fellowships are hanging on to some no-shows because at least they can visit them. I bet of the six, at least one will have an inactive member they'd be happy to replace with you.

I see you have posted a message in the "Winyandor Members Seeking Fellowships" forum . Someone there will invite you to join a group. If you find you don't gel well with them after a time, at least you have some trading and visiting partners while you search for a better spot. I suggest looking at fellowships and reading their overview to see if that sounds like a group with similar philosophies as yourself.

Personally I like fellowships where minimal to no one in it is my neighbour, as it increases my trading option. Lots of neighbours don't visit due to inactivity or cumbersome visitation system (browser version). As with the others I highly recommed you join a fellowship, just search through the list of fellowships (easier on browser then mobile).

Just a quick point on wording. Where you say "tier" above it would be clearer to say "chapter", otherwise there might be some confusion in the future. People often refer to their goods as tiers 1,2,3. The chapters gets easier in terms of names later as people just refer to the guest race, most people wouldn't even know the names of the first 5 chapters which is why the number is used most often.
