Feels like my "personal fight", which costed me my "good reputation" and my role as a game supporter on DE, finally is paying.

You can trust me, I was very close to give up this "fight" and was up to leaving Elvenar forever the last days.

Today after having red @Guess Whos Back ? 's posts, I feel like a winner and of course very happy.
I am thinking that InnoGames was able to learn something by this, not only from me but in general.

Maybe some would ask if it was really worth it destroying my team career and collecting lifetime bans from DE for Discord and old german forum?
I must admit that I was and am a little stubborn, that is by the way one of the reasons I invested that much diamonds for that portrait in "Builders of Harmony"

but I think it is always worth to stand up for something that one is really deeply convinced of and today after a long time of bad temper, I am harvesting the fruits of my "stubborn work" and realize that I couldn't have been so wrong.

Of course I will never be able to be part of one of the teams of my favourite game again, but from now on I'll see myself as InnoGames external consultant. ;)

Plus what if they would decide to shut down (old) forums next week and maybe firing a serious amount of CMs, would it have been worth to spend time to encourage those old forums.
Of course I like the fact that this forum is still being supported but I am not sure if this is happening just on voluntary basis maybe even without InnoGames valuing this?
Or do they want to support their forums back again? If it is stll supported I guess it would really be no big issue to provide forums with every official announcement and all the other stuff the forums had back in the days.

I would really love it to be like this again but I wouldn't wonder if they would shut down all forums worldwide maybe tomorrow, next week, next month or next year.

Must be by accident, but I feel like my feedback was heard, thouhgt about and realized!
I still cannot believe this, I guess I will need a few days to process this.
At first I am really very happy about this and I have to make the effect working on me!

Thanks for keeping the forums alive! I am really looking forward to the future of this forum, because it is, alongside old beta forum, the only forum that has been left to me.

It was always your feedback that you (community) wanted the forum back, so it's always good to give our opinions :)

Let's see what the future holds in relation to Contests, however, let's take advantage of the fact that from now on the forum will have the same announcements made on discord. :stick_out_tongue_human:

If Inno is serious about reviving the forum, a good next step would be to reinstate the in-game link to join it. That way new players will be able to find it and join much more easily. There used to be a link but it was replaced last year with a link to join Discord. And I'm not saying get rid of the Discord link: it is pretty apparent by now that Inno is serious about Discord. But can we have both?

At the moment it is not in the plans to add the forum link to the game (as it was in the past).

However, it does not invalidate the fact that it will be added again in the future. (but not currently in the plans)

The folks on EN Forum have been campaigning for the link to be restored, here is yesterday's discussion on this point.

I happened to notice that if I right-click on the game in the browser version, the popup menu has links to Discord and Facebook. Maybe add the Forums there? I don't know how many people would find it though.

I would like the third placeholder like pictured in my post above, same thing that Hekata asked for on EN.

For now I am happy to have the forums switched on again, but I am asking myself: "How should new players recognize that there even is a forum alongside the Discord server without any mentioning ingame?"

I tried multiple times to use Elvenar's Discord (despite having never liked it in the past for other uses) and GAVE UP.

Since Inno siphoned players away from this forum and over to Discord I largely stopped coming here, too, although I would pop in from time to time to check on updates.

I much prefer this forum as the architecture makes it easy to ask questions, find answers, follow up on comments.

It's this or nothing for me.

To me this is just a first step and if we do well and this forum picks up then there might be more coming. At this moment, this forum doesn't offer enough to be promoted. Maybe it's time for everyone to start posting and getting involved again.

i am here and use the US forum very often!
This forum has always been easy for me to use when searching for information. It just seems like the most knowledgeable and helpful people are here using this forum. i did use the discord, but ended up coming back to the forum. i feel like if i stop playing Elvenar, i may still check out the forum!

We can say the following:

The community was heard and we brought back the forums, but it is also up to the community to take advantage of the resource available :) :cool:

I'll be happy to see our forum catch fire (with good things and a healthy environment) :stick_out_tongue_elf:
