Is it possible to give us more flexibility with out game avatar, like uploading a pic or forum avatar?

I'm afraid you're stuck with the options in the game. Luckily, as you move through the chapters, you will unlock additional avatars and can change to one of those.
Here on the Forum, you can get as creative as you like, however! Check out the Artist's Corner and you can even have one of our talented members design an avatar and signature panel for you here. : )

New game avatars are supposed to be earned.

Folks do ask for this from time to time, and here is what we were told. The game is used as a filter to protect us. We are not supposed to use our real name, in fact this is one of the few conditions under which a username can be changed. We cannot upload our own pics because the avatars must conform to certain standards and cannot contain any embedded information that could identify us.
