Game Session Expiring During Battles?

Ever since I woke up this morning the game has started to give me the game session has expired pop up frequently.

The message says:

"Game Terminated

Sorry, your session has expired. Please log in again."

I got this twice while fighting the 2nd battle in a 2 battle fight in the Spire. The first time it happened the battle did not resume, I just lost credit for winning the first of the 2 battles.

The second time the session expired while during a battle it did go back, at least.

Is this game session expiring thing a new feature?

I get this notice while I am actually playing the game. Super annoying.

Browser + version or App + platform?
Operating System?

have you cleared your cache and restarted your device/PC?

I will try rebooting my system and clearing the cache

That seemed to have fixed the problem. I should have tried that first before posting.
