How do you come to this conclusion? Other it becoming more widely accepted to love whomever you love, what morals do you think have changed?
(I like this conversation but I think we should make a private thread or something? This one is JPS' about gaming being a disorder, my brothren!)
I don't understand how you can seperate faith and religion
(Let's sum it up or probably drop it and agree to disagree? You're one of my peers and I respect you. Religion is not the same as believing in God, Faith is pure. Religions are often currupted by money or politics, and almost all religions have flaw. There is no flaw in Faith. No bad comes from believing in good)

This much I can agree with. I still don't understand how your faith can tell you that same sex relations are amoral though, that seems to fall into the religion category, not faith.
If you specifically believe in the christian god, and believe homosexuality is a sin based on words written in the bible, then that's religion, not faith.

If JPS or someone else minds, they'll say something.
Honestly there's only ~20 regular forum users, and half of those never see the lounge section-- I doubt anyone cares.
There's certainly no chance you'll get away with starting a thread titled "Being gay is wrong"

I'm off to bed though, we'll see if this thread hasn't been mod crushed by morning.

It's because we have foruming disorder (a ripple of gaming disorder) and the lounge offers no endorphins! If strangers can't like my random thoughts what's the point?! :p

and this:
8. Inappropriate material and language
It is not allowed to post any discussions of illegal activities or illegal content. Politic and religious discussion are also not allowed. Pornography, racist or ethnic bashing comments are forbidden even if used in jest.
Abbreviations, self-censoring, and attempts to circumvent the censure also violate this guideline. Please note that starring out characters like "F*ck" does not make it any less a swear word. It is still perfectly understandable and still intentionally offensive, and thus is forbidden in all forms. This is valid also for Acronyms such as GTFO or STFU.

So the mods have some cleaning to do when they sober up from New Years!  :D

Perfection has officially become unappealing. Kids these days are more obsessed with perfection than many previous generations were, and this obsession is associated with increased depression and anxiety, according to a new study published in Psychological Bulletin.

Confusion comes from the gray area, the area between the light and dark. Confusion says wrong is right, and right is wrong. That just about anything can be a disorder, instead of what is causing the disorder. Or creating laws that force people to accept immoral and evil things
This is not political, but it is true. Nor is it religious, but the topic touched bases with belief, which touched bases with what's wrong or right.
And got way off topic.

Politic and religious discussion are also not allowed.
That's why I made myself clear, it wasn't about religion.
Religion can vanish, it is another creation of man. Do not confuse religion with faith.

It's a shame that the mention of God is considered a disorder ^ ^

Yet somehow less shameful than loving someone not approved by god be considered a disorder?

For most of my life it has struck me as perfectly logical to consider it a disorder to give up responsibility for your own life by saying the only reason humans have to be good to each other is fear of an omnipotent being. Wouldn't the world be a hundred times better if we all just treated each other respectfully without the threat of displeasing the only being who's opinion matters?

Even for a lounge discussion, this is inappropriate. Closed for cleaning, per the quoted rule above.
