Signatures are limited to 150h x 500w, which squeezes you guys pretty hard.
It occurs to me that the Fellowships seeking Members forum, in each world, would be an ideal venue for displaying the talents of our graphics artists. Uploads are allowed in those forums, so you'd be able to embed images up to 640w x 480h, which gives you 4 times the real estate to work with, as compared to a signature block, without chewing up a lot of display space in unrelated forums.
A juiced up version of the in-game Fellowship Flag would seem to be an obvious possibility, but I'm far more interested in what you guys think would be interesting. I can also visualize plumping up each thread with caricatures of the various members in each Fellowship.
Historically, advertising Fellowships/Guilds in the forums hasn't been very effective, but if the forums are interesting BECAUSE of the graphics, that just might do the trick and everybody would benefit. And there are some obvious contest possibilities.
