How many staffs do you still need?

I have 3 cities, spent my currency today. All three played the same way, maximizing chest selection for grand prizes.

Cities A and B have an Ash Phoenix fed.
City C does not have an Ash Phoenix.

City A got the Forge with 602 SF remaining.
City B got the Forge with 351 SF remaining.
City C is 38 Staves short of getting the Forge.

My question is, for the mathy folks out there, how much extra currency was due to the Ash Phoenix, and how much just good luck on the extra SF draws in the chests?

Max level? about 100 I think.
Each quest gives +1 until you get to the quests that give over 50, then it's +2

In other words, it came down to just plain good luck again?

I don't remember the exact change point, but the first 40 or so quests gave one extra and the rest gave two extra, with a level 10 Ashen, so around 110?

I have only won back 210 extra currency in the current Beta event, and only needing 5 more grand prizes sounds good to me.

and if you are steel-boosted in any of them, missing the steel building will not hurt there.

so, 2 of every 3 are hurt ??? and why doesn't the forge pay the same as stone/wood ??
seems steel boosted cities were covered 10 ways to sunday .....
