I can't figure how to donate to the magic academy...stuck

I can't figure out how to donate to the Magic Academy...HELP!

I do not have a better grasp of terminology but I have screen shots!
First go into the Cauldron
Add ingredients and brew a potion(any ingredients, any potion). After you drink the potions go back into the Cauldron and click the Study Effects button.
On the next screen click the donate button(pick what you want to donate to the left of the donate button.
