Is this right? 2 new Tree Enclosures @ different culture values?

Just got my first 2 CB's from the event, one after another: Tree enclosure. They are identical in graphics and verbiage, but the culture values are different: the first one I received with a 140 chest = 570; the second one I received with 90 chest = 690. either I got cheated by 110; or made out and should have kept my words to myself; or that's the way it is supposed to be; or it's a bug; or something else ....

Did you finish the first technology of level 3 between getting one tree and getting the second tree? The reward from the trees are based on what level you were when you got them. It sounds like you have a level 2 tree and a level 3 tree.

You may be right about them being different levels, but in this case I bought them at the same time, well in succession: first I bought the 140 then a few seconds later bought the 90 without closing the window or doing anything else. Well, now what exactly do you mean "first technology of level 3"? What level I was in the event? or what? sorry, just does not make sense to me. The reason I say you may be right is because on my other city, where I just entered Chap V, and had just finished the 23rd quest in the event quest line, I bought a 140 chest and received a Tree Enclosure @ culture 800! Whereas on the other server, the one I am writing about, I was still in Chap IV, 2nd to last tier, and had just finished the 18th quest in the event quest line.

When you complete the Advanced Scout research you are considered as being in the next chapter, matching whatever chapter that scout research shows. Event buildings tend to have different rewards by chapter. It would be a bug for you to have 2 different levels of event buildings when you did not change which chapter you are in between winning or purchasing them.

When I say, "purchasing them" I mean you get points towards the grand prize buildings and can delay using those points to claim the building. For example my Mysterious Egg (Phoenix GP 1) is L4, but my Purple Phoenix Egg (Phoenix GP2) is L5 because I waited until I had completed the Advanced Scouts in chapter 5 to collect that second grand prize.

Got it! thank you for clarifying, most appreciated. Well it is a bug then because I did not change chapters between purchases or during. So what should the culture level be then for the Tree Enclosure while still in chap IV?

You should use the in game bug reporting to contact the moderators, they will be able to identify what happened. No one hear can be certain of the circumstances. Either right-click on the game and pick "support" or click the question mark on the gear pop up at the bottom right.
