Odd kp issue today. I had 15 kp charged when i logged in. Along with 10 dialy kp. I spent them in the 10 and 15 kp chain threads. Then went back to my main city. Donations went fine, donated full amounts.
Went back to my city and noticed i now have 8 charged kp. Which is a little odd, but iv seen it before. I refreshed the webpage. Sometimes its a glitch. Loaded back up but still shows 8 kp.

The odd part... my charge kp timer is at 1h 34m...

I went on my second city. That one has 11 charged kp and 10 daily kp. I donated 20 kp in aw chain threads. When he got back to main city screen, he had 9 charged kp. And his hourly kp timer is also at 1h 30m
 
Sometimes I find KP just shows up unannounced as I move through the city and don't notice I've hit some building that gives me KP. Maybe that's what's happening? You are collecting KP but don't know it?

Just an idea.

No that wasnt it. I donated the kp, and the new stuff literally showed up as soon as i was back to my city.
But 'the bank made an error in your favor' doesnt bother me much. Im more concerned about the timer showing 1h 30m to charge a single kp.
 
If you donated the KP, then maybe it triggered the completion of the AW and you got the KP from a chest? Just another guess.
 
i have not seen a number that big since that day. But i havnt been at the screen to observe when the new kp timer starts.
 
I am reading your question and I also have a question about the number of kp not registering.
I've got a ticket started on this but I haven't got an answer back yet.
So, my issue is.-
I have an AW that needs 32 KP to be full for upgrading. I placed a reply on 1 of our 30 KP swap email chains.
It was responded to within an hour and I got the mention in the 'notifications that the person had indeed placed 30 KP to this AW. But the AW still says 32 KP required to complete.
Since that person added 30, it should only need 2 to complete.
Has anyone else had kp that didn't add up proper for their AW's?

I have seen a bunch of glitches like that over time. Usually it sorts itself out very quickly, or after a refresh. The one i mention struck me as more odd because it stuck around after a refresh and occurred on two different accounts on two different comps.

Some times there seems to be quite a random lag for adding kp to an aw. I have seen that too. Usually in the same situation is when i notice it. When i have a specific amount left on an aw and use the kp chains. After the next donation, im still short way more then i should be. And the notifications show i got the kp but its not showing up... So yea, iv seen that before. It usually shows up eventually. But it can be a bit irritating while youre trying to figure out wth happened.

thank you for telling me this Dominionofgod. That is just the scenario that brought the totals of KP's to my attention. I am suspecting the same thing will sort itself out as you suggested
