Is there a way for the mages & archmage of a world to communicate with each other, without the rest of the fellowship being involved? Like a chat room of sorts?

In one FS we have a running 'Mage Communication' message. You do have to type in each mage's name when you set it up. It can get slow to load as it gets more messages so we start a new one when it gets somewhere around 75-100 messages.
In the other FS we also have a Slack chat set up for the FS and a Mage channel in there.
