I am having a little trouble understanding your question. However, I will provide some info that may be helpful, we'll see!
All buildings in the game except event buildings will change their appearance as you upgrade them (and their size, for most of them). Usually, they will exhibit some of the design styles of the chapter you are in. The exceptions are those buildings that do not get upgrades every chapter, such as manufactories. Only certain ones will get an upgrade in each chapter, so you may have an orc-style Dust Manufactory for 2 or 3 chapters before you get another upgrade to it.
