Although from what I have seen there are very few players even close to reaching the total expanse limit on their city (filing up the entire available grid by having every expansion completed), perhaps with one of the new visiting race's to explore on the Knowledge tree we could get a new expandable culture monument to strive for. By this I mean one which after you build it you can then upgrade it to many higher levels (like our other buildings) VS. taking up a Hugh pile of real estate by having to build multiple monuments.
