Your Elvenar Team
Feel free to ask your questions about the game as soon as they might arise.I'm a new player, about a week, so, I have a lot to learn.
Thank you. I will more than likely have a lot of questions, I've been reading the forums alot today. One question was about hot keys, but I just found them today.Hello @Lord Lestatt Welcome to the good old original Elvenar Forum!
Feel free to ask your questions about the game as soon as they might arise.
There are various experienced players here that love to help and to answer questions.
Did you chose elves or humans?
No thing! Just feel free to ask anything. I am aware of that I don't know everything yet but nearly everything about Elvenar.Thank you. I will more than likely have a lot of questions
I've been reading and still am reading several original Elvenar Forums. To me they always had been and still are a real wealth of knowlege to interested and patient humans and elves.I've been reading the forums alot today
You do / did chose before you started your game. It is the very first thing to happen before one can start building and playing.I do not remember choosing elves or humans, but I guess I have humans
I am definetely not saying that you should create a Discord account to be able to join the Elvenar Discord Server but this would be the "alternative" @InnoGames felt free to "offer" to humans and elves. You say the original Elvenar Forum, is there another I should be looking at also?

I would say that I learned / earned about half of all my knowledge about Elvenar by attentivly reading the forum and by dicussing with other humans or elves.
By the way there are not many differences between humans and elves. Some "fighters" say that the humans got better troops than the elves.
I am still activly playing 8 cities, half of them human other half elven cities and I am still not sure about this.
But I am sure that I like elven architecture more than the human version although human cities seem a little easier to be progressed.
Fun fact is that after about three years of playing and progressing my second city, a human one, is doing a lot better than my first city, an elven city in tournament and spire.
I guess this is mostly because the elvish city got a lot more wonder levels than the human one and maybe in some cases better luck in crafting.
Be aware of having not too much Ancient Wonders on low levels that you maybe will not need yet.
You will research your first Ancient Wonders in chapter IV.
Just to give an example I liked to skip the Endless Excavation and the Tome of Secrets and decided to only built the Golden Abyss at first and upgraded it to a higher level before adding further wonders and mostly produced tools with my regular workshops.
One principle which is a little harder to follow since the change of upgrade costs of Ancient Wonders but it is still possible.

To me there is no real need for Discord, especially since @InnoGames decided to supply the original forums with all the official announcements again, a decision I really appreciated a lot and am still thankful for! Long live the forums!
May I ask in which world you founded your city?

I did join DC because I already had it, reading there also.I am definetely not saying that you should create a Discord account to be able to join the Elvenar Discord Server but this would be the "alternative" @InnoGames felt free to "offer" to humans and elves.
I am in HarandarMay I ask in which world you founded your city?
Ah ok, I am situated in Winyandor here on US where I got only one city. So unfortunately we are playing in different worlds.I am in Harandar
I am in US also. east coast.Ah ok, I am situated in Winyandor here on US where I got only one city. So unfortunately we are playing in different worlds.
@TimeMachine is, I believe, a bit further east than you - in Germany. On the other hand, I am on the same coast as you, although much further north (my state borders Canada).I am in US also. east coast.
I find that humorous. Since I am some 1200 miles north of you (give or take, depending on where you live), I awoke to 29 degrees. I thought it was warm and did not need my big winter jacket. This balmy weather will be short-lived as it may soon go down to single-digit numbers. (for our non-US friends, that is about -10 to -15 C).but it was 28 degrees this morning
I am actually from northern Pennsylvania, moved south in 2008, so I was accustomed to temps in the 20's and 30's. now I am in Florida and and have gotten used to the hot weather, when the temps drop I really feel it. Of course, age has some effect on that also.@TimeMachine is, I believe, a bit further east than you - in Germany.
