Since they made it difficult to acquire the last set pieces on live, it would make some sense to make them available in an FA afterward. (And maybe that's why they made it more difficult to do so.)

Better off to set your expectations super low and expect something as asinine as one each of Mermaid + Stonehenge + Fairy Queen artifacts...
I could actually use a Mermaid and Stonehenge artifact since I was not playing during the original event and since it was nearly impossible to win 9 of them to fully evolve a building during the 6 week period they were in the Spire. I go to the top of the spire every week in 3 different cities and did not get 9 artifacts for either Stonehenge or Mermaid's Paradise in any of my cities. In fact, this would be an improvement for me over most FA prizes since in most FAs I have already fully evolved my building during the event and don't need the artifacts.

IMHO, more artifacts for mostly mediocre buildings would be a slap in the face in this instance, considering how comically bad INNO over-nerfed the current event...

Sure, for myself & because I *can*, I'm seriously contemplating just throwing 5-10k dias at the event & ensure I can get some extra buildings to build the dual-set Soggy created on his beta cities.
I can (currently) always use the boatloads of extra T1, since I'm atm forced to negotiate my way through the Spire as I don't have the troop production or the boosters to fight both it + tournament every week... (no Polar Bear or Timewarp, god-awful luck getting the boosters to even show up in crafting, only Ch9 so my specialised troops still suck monkey-poo, etc...)

However, I can definately sympathise with the majority of players who will likely fall *at least* 1-2 buildings short of the full set, simply because the devs are beyond terribad at even the most basic math.

As for me, I am done telling newbies not to have roads on the perimeter
This is what my city looks like and I'm nearing the end of chpt 2. Can I get a pair of fresh eyes to critique and/or give some advice. I've tried to keep it to resource and supply enhancing buildings with just a small number of cultural structures. Any opinions greatly appreciated!

So if you normally earn 9 artifacts during an event, you can get the whole set. Plus, the buildings in Silver and Gold are extras of buildings you will already have won. Those ranks are for people trying to make two or three complete sets.
As for making it through the and collecting all the artifacts during the fairy set, I managed to complete the evolution and get the building and another evolve again. So if what I read from in here is correct and it takes 13 times to aquire all the pieces then I did it about 16 or 17. It was slightly more difficult than I expected and I did use some diamonds(not many) to complete it before time was up. I did start late with the event but all things considered it was very doable. The fairy event didn't have the different league classes like silver and gold...at least for me. Looking at my completion % in the actual quest and the % completed to reach gold there is a vast difference. Im about 40-50% complete but it says only 1% in the gold category. WHY IS THIS? Do I HAVE TO complete the quest multiple times to make it gold and if that is my goal then there is no way to do it without using a fair amount of diamonds correct? If this is correct I think this is bs because if you are a avid player you should be able to reach those categories/leagues without the need for diamonds. It should be a reward for being dedicated! Diamonds should only be necessary to complete the event/quest for those who occasionally participate in order for them to stay on par and/or recoup from the time missed due to lack of activity. This, of course, are questions needing answers and my opinion to the answers I assume will be given. Please answer and comment.

@BAChief In regard to the pic you posted about your city asking for advice, it looks like you are trying to make every kind of good. This is not a good idea. Making non-boosted goods is very inefficient. Focus on making your boosted goods and trade for your non-boosted. Your city will be MUCH more efficient if you do this. If you are having trouble getting trades accepted, post in your fellowship's group chat when you post trades.

@BAChief I suggest you make a separate thread for comments on your city. The two things I see right off the bat is that joining a fellowship that would allow you to focus on producing just your boosted good would help your efficiency tremendously. Also consider realigning your city so that the "short" sides of your residences and steel manufactories (assuming those are your boosted goods) are aligned to the roads. This will allow you to have fewer roads and more manufactories. If you add some culture buildings that could allow you to upgrade your residences more, which would allow space both for the culture buildings and other things. In general you're going to need to bite the bullet and upgrade buildings to higher levels, adjusting to the shape changes, or you will rapidly run out of room in your city.

Hi @BAChief

So far as the League goes, you will be happiest if you just ignore this and play your event your way as it best suits your city. Only the top 1% of players in your realm, at the beginning of the last hour of the event, will earn that. This moment will occur at 4am Eastern Daylight Time in about 2 weeks. If you are silver the night before, ask us again, and we will advise you how to best spend diamonds to get and stay in gold.

As to why 1%, well InnoGames has discovered that some players will spend more $$ than otherwise to be competitive.
