'Autumn Zodiac' questline event starts on Thursday in Beta server. It follows a week after a quick, easy Workshop Challenge that followed the Gateway event, with no FA this time.
I will post full details once there is an official announcement, or failing that, once the event starts. You are welcome to share my notes, that can be opened on any standard browser.
Note that the Beta version may not be exactly the same as the live one that follows.

Please let there be Training Dojos again *fingers crossed*

From August 18th, until September 8th, you will be able to enjoy this year's Autumn Zodiac event!
I will be posting full event details on Thursday once I have access to the event, which you are welcome to share with friends and fellowship.

Here so long is a copy of the Beta Announcement:

Once again, the stars are aligning and a spherical conjugation has begun. While you are waiting with anticipation for the arrival of another celestial bear visitor, to your surprise a rather strange-looking and definitely not a celestial creature finds his way towards your city. Exhausted and famished, he followed the stars to your city, where he hopes to find some help to repair his vessel and some tasty food to fill up his belly. Well, he just arrived at the time of Harvest Festival! Will you help and feed this strange creature, so you can learn all about his mysterious life?

Dear Humans and Elves,

From August 18th, until September 8th, you will be able to enjoy this year's Autumn Zodiac event! By following the questline and fulfilling the event tasks, you will be rewarded with Golden Keys which you can use to open up Spheres containing all kinds of prizes, including varying daily rewards. Of course you can also find Golden Keys around your city outskirts, by reaching quest milestones, and by visiting your city on a daily basis.

Each Sphere you open, will also reward you with a small amount of Star Dust which gathers in your progress bar towards the special Grand Prizes, including Evolution Artifacts for this year's new bear, the WittyCoon:

The WittyCoon will provide you with population, culture and switchable productions depending on your chapter and it's evolution stage. When you feed him, he will boost his own productions.

The questline consists of a story section and additional episodic quests, which start as soon as the story is completed. This means that you will be able to finish the first series of quests right away, while later quests have new additions released on a daily basis, allowing you to continue to play 1 additional event quest on each new event day. Fulfilling the event quests will also grant you Milestone Rewards at certain points along the way.

This event will also feature the Leagues system, as well as the Royal Prize Pass!

We wish you the best of luck with raising your WittyCoon and are looking forward to reading your feedback in our discussion thread!

Kind regards,
Your Elvenar Team

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that there can always be differences in event layouts, balancing and prizes between Beta and Live release. App version 1.158 is required for the event to function properly. This app version is released separately from the event. In addition to that, please note that the final day of the event spans more than 24 hours, in order to not have the event end during the night (CET). That means the Daily Exclusive on September 8th is the final Daily Exclusive reward that is also available for some more hours in the morning (CET) of September 9th. No new event quest is added to the quest line on September 9th, the final Quest Milestone can be unlocked on September 8th.

WittyCoon should just randomly activate feed effects sometimes during the night because they're scavengers so we shouldn't have to feed him any Pet Food. And if you get a feed trigger during the day, you'll have to contact pest control Support for a refund and maybe rabies shots too.

Last year, we had a somewhat respectable trash panda. A trash panda that could kick your butt if you talked trash to them and do so with grace and style. I didn't get a good look at the graphic (because they were so small) but the smol shots says it's one who embraced their trashiness and went for the junkyard instead of the roadside garbage bins.

Ahh, an enlightened trash panda!

Shortly after the Sorcerers have taken Peregrim into custody and brought him out of the city to discuss his future fate, the Woodelf queen Ahskahala arrives in the city because her husband has not returned. King Aelrindel is still turned into a tree and Ahskahala's magical powers alone cannot solve the curse. For the proud Woodelves it is unthinkable to ask the hated Sorcerers for help. Therefore Ahskahala calls Peregrim's sister Luania from the woods - a powerful Woodelf who can combine the healing powers of Mana and music.

Luania manages to solve Aelrindel's curse with the help of an aria that she holds from a small stage that is set up in the city. Aelrindel and Ahskahala then demand that Dean Durcu surrenders Peregrim to try and punish him according to the laws of their people - that is the least that the Sorcerers can do for the Woodelves after they brought so much mischief over the forest. Durcu agrees to the proposal and has Peregrim brought back to town. Peregrim, cursed and betrayed, is still foaming with rage, but without his magical powers he is no longer a threat to the city. Luania tries to defend her brother: He is not the mad scientist and cold-hearted villain that everyone now sees in him: It is the curse that has clouded his mind, and it is precisely this curse that must now be removed from him. Unfortunately, her magical powers are not enough to free her brother from his curse. It has since eaten too deeply in his heart to hear the healing sounds of Luania's voice.

Will you be able to help Luania prove that her brother is not the evil person everyone thinks he is, or is he exactly what everybody expects, and should he be punished? Find it all out in this new chapter in the story of Elvenar!

The Settlement

With the arrival of the new chapter, comes the next tier of Ascended Goods, allowing your Merchant to trade not 6, but 9 Goods in total (after upgrading your Trader to level 9).

The challenge for this chapter will be that some settlement production buildings will need to be placed directly next to your manufactories and others need to be (directly or indirectly) linked to the portal building in order to work. Over the course of the chapter you'll find that you'll need gradually more city space for your settlement buildings and you'll need to make strategic choices in what to produce and which resources to use for what purpose.

Of course, the new chapter will bring new city map expansions, upgrades and units. The city grid will also be expanded. At the end of Chapter 20, you will be able to unlock 2 brand new Ancient Wonders:

Scout's Tavern (5x3)
Reduces scouting times
and produces Ghastly Banshees

B_Ch20_AW1_1_0000.png

Ancestral Resting Place (4x7)
Reduces decay of Ascended Goods
and increases the amount of Neighborly Help chests

We hope that Chapter 20 - The Power of Music will provide you with new challenges and an exciting new storyline, and we are looking forward to hearing your feedback in our discussion thread!

Kind regards,
Your Elvenar Team

Art seems to be a bit curious on this one. Pic 1 he flies in (on fire), Pic 2 he's crashed and everything is in ruins, Pic 3 he's rebuilding, and pic 4 he's up and flying again. I like the narrative, but upgrading to that pic 2 looks much more like a downgrade! There's room for some interesting animations on the building at each stage.

Shouldn’t he be raiding the wreckage and not restoring it
