It looks like the initial limit is 2740KP that each player can receive, across all wonders, from all donators. You increase that by donating to other players' AWs. So, if you donate 20KP to another player, your new limit is 2760. Once you finish a research level, the value of all chests is added to your total cap. There is also, apparently, an 80KP per day increase to the base.

So, you can't go hog wild on day one, but it should be manageable over time.
Is there any place where a player can see this limit? Or is it something you learn from support?

Right now, there doesn't appear to be a way to tell your current limit. That information was pulled by a data miner. @helya would have to say whether support could tell us what our limits are.

It looks like this cap has existed for a while, but players never got close to it, because that start point is fairly high for routine play. But, with thousands of rune shards to dump, players on beta are starting to hit the "push" cap.

The thing is that we really don't want players figuring out a workaround. I am guessing that I'll be asked to remove posts referencing this in the future.

Maybe. If they remove posts on the Beta forum, you might have to as well. But Marindor did leave everything as is after he gave the warning. Though the bosses getting back into the office on Monday may change that. lol

But I think that overall, this limit is only a problem if one player gets KP bombed by a bunch of people in the same day and they have not returned any KP yet. And all that happens is no one can give that player any more KP until they balance it out by giving back. If someone does receive too much in one day, players will see a message in-game that tells them that player cannot receive any more KP right now, so they are not keeping that part a secret, just the exact numbers.

I think the limit is more of a problem if you are using push accounts, and yes, it's the numbers we don't want to share, although the limit itself was not supposed to be released either.

Hey, Inno caused that to happen when they made all the rune shards available to turn into KP and created a free-for-all on Beta. Say someone has an AW at a high enough level that it needs 1500 KP to make the next level. That is only 100 rune shards, at 15 KP each. And from the numbers being tossed around, that is over half the daily limit before triggering the pushing warning. So two players do that for one other player and suddenly no one else can give anything to that player. Once the rune shard stockpiles of the big players get lower, this will not happen at all. When this goes to the Live servers, the devs may want to put a separate, lower daily limit specifically on KP received from rune shards, so that the pushing limit is not hit by normal players.

Here is the message we get in-game when someone has received their KP limit for the day, or until they give some back. Note this is a player-wide thing and not AW by AW, as you can see by this because the AW pictured has zero KP in it.

Yes, we are fully expecting a plethora of support tickets once the Rune shard donations hit live.

Right, and it seems that limit has been in the system for a long time

It's been in the files about a month, but It's only sort of "'here" it's not "turned on"
For live servers everyone's balance is "unlimited" for now.
