@Enevhar Aldarion ~ thank you for answering the exact questions I had!

If you get the Giant's Hand from the Grand Prize, you will be able to get the 2nd link on the Frozen Fountain and Frozen Orc.The good thing is the better pieces are daily prizes. The Frozen Fountain, with zero extra links active, is still a top 10 mana producer and gives the same mana per square/per hour as a Burning Pool or Manta Ray. And the Frozen Orc Vortex is okay for orc production. So if you win, say 5 of each, and you set them up around your city in pairs for the one link on each, you will have really good mana production and good orc production.

Oops. Brain fart. I was thinking that one was 240 and the other 300 even though you were very clear. So yeah. Not really worth it.Oh, and the number of players who get to 300 points in any event is miniscule.
240 is the threshold for the Ice Mountain Troll in the royal prize package. That might have been what you were thinking of.Oops. Brain fart. I was thinking that one was 240 and the other 300 even though you were very clear. So yeah. Not really worth it.
Agree about Frozen Foutain. It is a great mana producer. However I am not sure if it is worth putting out Frozen Orc Vortex to accompany it. The link bonuses are tiny: 10% extra is the link 1 bonus for both buildings. And even with 1 link bonus, Frozen Orc Vortex does not outperform an Orc Nest. They are easy to compare, since they are the same size. So essentially the question is: is it worth putting out an inferior orc producer in order to get a 10% increase in the mana production from your Frozen Fountain? I see it only being worthwhile if you have 1 Frozen Orc Vortex providing link bonuses to multiple Frozen Fountains. But not worth it if you only have 1 Frozen Fountain. The good thing is the better pieces are daily prizes. I don’t have a Beta account but I do visit the Beta forum. In the discussion of the Seasons feature Karvest posted some numbers that made it sound like it would be impossible to obtain the final prize The Somnial Pool even if you did all the daily and weekly quest for the 75 days. Can either of you confirm this or pose the question for the Beta CM? I would be most grateful, thank you in advance.
Might kave been kirit & karak(sp?) which they offered for $140 on black friday.Does anyone know what building set came after this one?
That isn’t surprising the setup of the season pass rewards is really odd. Instead of a premium and free rewards being on a separate reward path with milestone being hit at the same time this as only one reward path with premium rewards scattered throughout on milestones with no free reward able to be received.@Enevhar Aldarion or @Lelanya

This is correct, was checking back on gems website. First few events had individual items some of which haven't been offered since, to my knowledge.I think that the Winter set is the very first set building, it's from Christmas 2017. Woodelvenstock was next, and then the Harvest Festival, which spawned the Kirit and Kirat items, iirc.
Based on your post I just looked up Woodelvenstock on Elvengems. The page there says it will work in the same manner as the previous sets from the Three Glacier Giant and Phoenix Cult events. So based on this, it seems Woodelvenstock is set #3. Winter set (Three Glacier Giant event) is set #1. and Phoenix Cult is set #2.I think that the Winter set is the very first set building, it's from Christmas 2017.
