Will revise this once Elvenarchitect has the buildings. Right now I used two 4x1 lampions to turn an 8x4 into an 8x5 but this is what I have as a 43x16 building arrangement:

While I am finishing the last brews for map 3, I like to try to fill this forum with some life.

Among other things, by "stealing" Karvests latest spoilers from beta forum and posting them here in beta thread.

I really like them upcoming beta event buildings design!

The Season of Secrets is starting from September 9th on beta​

Season of Secrets will come to give you the chance to gain rewards by completing daily and weekly quests over a long time! Similarly to the previous Seasons, you will have 75 days, to collect Season Petals from daily and weekly quests. Collecting Season Petals will let you progress on the reward lane and reach waypoints. The new reward is Ghost Ship 4x3. The quests of the Seasons can be completed as part of your daily routine of playing the game, over the passing of several events! This means that the Season enables you to gain a lot of rewards by simply playing Elvenar regularly. The quests may also encourage you to explore different areas of the game. We're happy to hear your feedback in the dedicated [link removed] channel. Bugs can be reported in the [link removed] forum channel, as always! Thank you for your help and interest in beta!

Those preparing for the new chapter might benefit from IDavis fine site:

I noticed. I also noticed something weird
Quest # 9 : Scout 1 Province OR Have 720 completed Provinces
Quest # 23: Have 690 completed Provinces + Use 5 Time Boosters
Quest # 47: Have 700 completed Provinces + Collect 120000 Divine Seeds
Quest # 68: Have 710 completed Provinces + Have 10 Residences of at least Level 49

This makes no sense to me. The first one has another option, ok, but I still feel the numbers should be the other way around, starting with the lowest number then working up to higher numbers, not putting the highest requirement first.
Not that it matters to me personally as I am way past those numbers, but still.

Quest # 42: Have 4 Workshops of at least Level 49. Going to need 4 Workshops is going to be interesting as right now I run my city on 2 magical ones and have supplies to spare. And I guess the Canned Goods are not going to be affected by the PoP spell? Anyone knows anything about that?

And Quest # 45 shows how much room we will need: Have 14 Settlement Production Buildings + Have 5 Settlement Production Buildings of Level 2
Considering the size of those buildings it will be a lot of space again.

And anybody knows if and when elvenarchitect will incorporate the new chapter?

If you upgrade your two magical ones to chapter 22 they will count double for this quest (and thus fulfill it). On Beta, PoP does work on canned goods, and there is no decay for canned goods either (I cannot be certain whether this will or will not change for live).

Previous quests specify the exact buildings needed: 4 8x5, 4 5x8, 3 6x7, 3 7x6 and the 8x8 portal. I have a 43x16 arrangement for these buildings and it could be made a 42x16 if a 7x6 is swapped for a 6x7, but it is the intention that each successive chapter requires more settlement space than the previous chapter.

Thanks for your answer, I know. Not exactly a newbe here. ;)

But I will still need supplies AND I will now be needing those Canned Goods, so I plan on putting down 2 more, (I'm one of the older players who still BOUGHT them, so I have quite a few in my inventory, especially since I won some more in the Spire later) at least for the duration until I finish the chapter. After that I will have to see. Might be enough to return to just 2 and only occasionally make some Canned Goods.
If you already have all the provinces scouted that the chapter expects you to have by the end, there is no purpose in asking you to scout an additional province, so you get a quest completed for free.
Still makes no sense to me. Doesn't have to, I just have to go through it. I just think it's weird

I understand that. I was just making a remark.
I will just have teleport some evolving buildings and sell off the ones I can craft again; Orcnests, Vallorian Valor, Grounds of the Orc Strategist, Mana Sawmill, Festival Merchant. I'll just craft new ones instead of trying to upgrade them all with RRs. I like the artwork on a lot of the evolving buildings, so I usually have a lot out. And asd as a bonus they are easy to teleport and so quickly free up a lot of space.

Your 43x16 makes 688 squares, so about 27.5 expansions.
I plan to dedicate about 800 squares, which is 32 expansions, without too much trouble. Though that would include the room needed for 2 additional workshops, still, I'm pretty sure that will suffice.
And if not I can teleport some armories and some more factories without any trouble at all as I am extremely well stocked in goods.
Right now I have already rearranged things a bit so I have 2 factories for each of the 3 sentient goods and for each of the 3 ascended goods, all of which I will keep spelled until at least the start of the new chapter, as I noticed the techtree needs quite a bit and I would like to be able to help out my FS members a bit there, so I am stocking up a bit.

Without selling buildings or moving buildings into storage, my Beta city can only put out the portal and one of each of the chapter 22 production buildings. Space there is tighter because the Ascended goods trade market is horrible on Beta, so I have to keep out 2 of each of my boosted ascended goods factories, plus some sentient goods factories until those goods build up again. Normally I would blow through all those 5-hour and 1-hour time boosters to just send out the Merchants over and over again, but with all the recent changes, those time boosters are starting to get too tight to just go all out.
