Nightfarms cost diamonds?

I'm in the beginning of the Fairy chapter. I decided to sell one of my two level one nightfarms to make room for the FA. Now that I want to rebuild it cost me 114 diamonds to get a nightfarm. If I want another it will cost 144 diamonds. Has this happened to anyone else?

It should only cost Dimonds if you are missing the regular resources required to build it. Take a look for red numbers on the build pane prior to constructing it. (Maybe you're missing Velvet? Or Coins or Supplies...)
