No points were awarded to us on completion of the fellowship adventures. We were in 4th place. Were we not supposed to receive the ranking points listed ?

If I'm interpreting it correctly, that is "Fellowship Adventure Ranking Points" not individual ranking points in the world. They were awarded, there's just no way to see them yet.

A forum moderator said elsewhere they don't have a way yet to display the Adventure ranking points, but they are there. People are assuming the Adventure Ranking Points are the same as World Ranking Points, but I'm not convinced that's true.
it said the top 3 fellowships would receive buildings and ranking points would be awarded to the top fellowships. when you look a tthe rank tables you can see the Fellowship ranking awards, which relate to the adventure to show your place. there are also raking points shown under the rewards for the top 50 fellowships. which decrease in value the lower your ranking. After place 50 no ranking points are awarded. our fellowship were not awarded any ranking points for finishing 4th when the table stated those finishing 50 or better would receive ranking point rewards. I took these from the beta server last time the event was on but it shows the ranking points awarded for 4th and 10th places .

yes the Fellowship adventure rank points are different from the Fellowship reward rank points. If you look at the picture for example the 4th fellowship . fellowship rank points are listed as 11100. these are the points earned during the adventure. and these dissappear when the adventure is over. but the reward points which are awarded to the top 50 followships can be seen if you place your mouse over the rank points icon in the rewards column. in the picture it shows as 6000 points for 4th place. These should be awarded to the fellowship members when the event ends.. The top 50 fellowships get these points but on a sliding scale with those at position 50 getting 500 ranking points awarded at the end of the event.. these are world ranking points.

It's looking like there may have been lack of explanation as to how these reward points are given.
Elven Ivory may have provided the answer

Please note the points awarded for placing in the top 50 fellowships are awarded to the fellowship's ranking points, not to the individuals' ranking points within the fellowship. For now there is not an easy way to see these points without math, but some new ideas and features are being worked on and we look forward to sharing more information about this when it is available
