on goods with 10% loss/tax

Is it better to have all the goods in one stack? Or spread out? As in Does it cost more to have the stacks of goods as they build in own stack with a loss of 10% aday. Or is it better to move them all to one stack? I hate that right now I can not seem to get ahead on the Sentient goods. Am I losing more by not just putting all my goods in one stack?

I will leave the math to someone who can math, but will say that since ch15 I've been in the habit of saving up all my sentient goods in one stack, and then trading in a single go for the nutty amounts of S-goods I need for either upgrade or tech tree.

I have not noticed a terrible loss by doing this and feel like it's easier to watch my boosted S-good drain than to save up an unboosted S-good over days while watching that drain. Purely psychological. Now...I'll shut up and eagerly await someone with math skills to reply because I'd like to know as well.

Doesn't matter.
If you have 1000 goods that decay by 10% per day:
In one stack, 10% of 1000 is 100.
In ten stacks of 100 each, 10% of 100 is 10. 10 decay per stack, times ten stacks = 100.

The one place where it might change a little is if your stacks are not evenly divisible by the decay rate, because of rounding, but even there the difference will be plus or minus 1 per stack. I'm pretty sure the amount you lose is rounded down, but I'm not willing to put any money on that.

Aside from that, remember one thing. Even after you build the AW that reduces sentient decay, any posted trades still decay at 10%, no matter how much lower it is while in your inventory from the AW's power. So never post a trade close to the nightly decay time or you will lose more than if it was still in your inventory.
