On one quest we are to collect 2 combining catalysts or gain 4 vision vapors... WHAT are vision vapors?

Vision Vapor VV are what you get when you craft an item, the number goes towards obtaining the crafting chest

...and to those who don't think building a Magic Academy is worth it...yes, they do exists, incredibly! On this quest you'd be SOL and, i assume, could not continue on the event sequential quest chain.

Will lose all my summonings I have in inventory from the summer solstie if I change fellowships? And what about the number of points I have?

Changing fellowship today won't cost you anything. If you change during a tournament,your FS loses the tournament points and they don't go to the new one. They still count for you personally.

Events are done personally, not for the group, except for the Fellowship Adventures.

You can't join two fellowships in one day. You can leave one and join another, but if you leave the second one you have to wait before you can go back or into a third.
