Is it the banshee technology?

It's a known glitch from when they rolled out those stupid troops. The best advice I can give is to ignore it.

Mine is Dryad technology. Its annoying but I'll ignore it. I just home it won't interfere with me completing that tech. Thanks!

You may want to proceed to complete the research for Dryad, at some points you will not be able to move forward in your research tree without completion :)
Also, it will come in handy in the later chapters to complete event quests that ask to "complete a research".
