Dear Humans and Elves,

On Wednesday, February 17, there will be a period of downtime in order to roll out version 0.35 to our servers. The downtime will last several minutes at most.

During the expected downtime, you will not be able to access the game. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this

Today we offer you a brand-new feature to enjoy in the now even more magical world of Elvenar: Spells! Have a look at the release notes below for more details!

  • Spells have been added to Elvenar! At the end of Chapter I, you will find a brand-new building ready to research! This building with give you access to powerful spells, to aid your production. One will be available upon researching the Magic Academy, more will be available later on in the research tree, and some are yet to be introduced to the magical world of Elvenar. For a tutorial on how to use the Spells, have a look at the February episode of InnoGames TV and the announcement!

  • If you cannot continue in your research tree because of a mandatory research that has not yet been unlocked earlier on, the research menu will from now on be focused on the technology that has yet to be unlocked, rather than at the end of the research tree.

  • The Martial Monastery and The Sanctuary now provide Culture during upgrades as well
  • Production boost numbers are now updated correctly when Relic numbers change
  • Battle speed is now saved correctly between battles
  • When researching a unit upgrade in the research tree, the information in the Barracks is now updated accordingly as well
  • Sword Acrobats now have sounds
  • A quest requiring you to lay Cobbled Roads can no longer start before you have finished the quest to research those
  • Timers in-game were off by a considerable amount, and have now been corrected, so that in-game time matches real time again
  • The error that ended the session due to going into "standby or power-saving mode" should not appear as often as it did anymore
  • Click-and-drag sometimes did not collect all buildings if you hovered over a blimp, this is now fixed

We did make some adjustments to this release this morning -
  • Increase Goods spell duration from 12h to 13h
  • Adjust Supply Spell duration (2h to 10h) and effect (+250% to +200%)
  • Academy building does not cost relics anymore
We also added an additional Spell that can be created
  • Ensorcelled Endowment (Neighborly Help) spell is now available
Unfortunately the description for Ensorcelled Endowment is currently incorrect. The description should read
"A spell for every dear Elvarian: It enchants your Cultural Buildings so Neighborly Help will increase your total Culture Bonus directly by 5%."
and the effect is therefore 5% increase on your culture bonus. The effect lasts for 2 days. The description will be corrected in game as soon as possible

The fact that Ensorcelled Enowment is now the second spell has meant that those of you who were producing the Magical Manufacturing (Goods) spell at the time of the update will now get the Ensorcelled Endowment (NH) spell instead.
