Game Update Release notes version 0.28

Dear Humans and Elves,

On Tuesday, November 3, there will be a period of downtime in order to roll out version 0.28 to our servers. The downtime will last several minutes at most.

During the expected downtime, you will not be able to access the game. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.


With this update, we release Ancient Wonders! Also from today on, when you have unlocked the Dwarven Portal research, you will be able to be the Dwarf you always wanted to be, by selecting one of the brand new Dwarven Portraits on your player profile. We also have added sounds for all the Dwarven buildings in your city, as well as made improvements to the World Map. We have rebalanced some of the repeatable quests, and we have fixed a whole lot of bugs - all in order to improve your gaming experience even further. Below, you will find a full list of changes.


  • Ancient Wonders are now available, check this announcementfor more information!
  • Sounds have now been added for all Dwarven buildings
  • New player portraits are now available for those who have unlocked the Dwarven Portal research

  • The world map has received some graphical enhancements. Please be aware the frame will be sized down at a later date
  • We have added new settings for the graphics quality to increase performance of the game, especially on slower computers
  • 'Steel Golems' have been renamed to 'Granite Golems' to fit better into the story of Elvenar

  • It is no longer possible to receive Goods from repeatable quests, this is in order to prevent potential exploits

  • Residences and Granite Mines no longer need a refresh in order to start production while you are online
  • A cause of an internal error in Battle has been resolved
  • The battle map is now more easily visible on small screens
  • The date no longer shows over every message in chat
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to move buildings and streets and place them on top of other constructions, leading to internal errors
  • Buildings no longer unexpectedly change position when upgrading them
  • The hotkey to return to your city (C) no longer causes menus to sometimes disappear
  • Hovering a completed province now shows the province type and number of completed encounters again
  • The world map no longer appears blue after visiting a lot of other cities
  • The values shown in tooltips on units in battle have been made more consistent
  • Clicking the information button on a unit's avatar in battle shows the unit information window again
  • It is no longer possible to use hotkeys while still in the tutorial
  • When finishing scouting with Diamonds, you can now scout another province again straight away
  • Fixed the cause of an error with the confirmation window when canceling an upgrade
  • All production boosts from relics are now rounded correctly again
  • The tooltip on idle Granite Mines has been corrected
  • Granite now correctly counts towards quests that require you to gain Goods
  • Zooming in and out works correctly again in the city
  • Citizens can no longer wander off the streets
  • Various small display bugs with the world map were fixed
  • It is no longer possible to invite players who are already in your Fellowship to your Fellowship
  • Fixed an error where idle buildings in your own city could play animations
  • After visiting multiple neighbours, buildings' graphics no longer disappear in cities
