Release Notes



Dear Humans and Elves,

We will have a temporary downtime on Thursday, July 12, in order to roll out version 1.58 onto our servers. Please check back for any further updates regarding this release.

During the expected downtime, you will not be able to access the game. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


Improvements



  • Expiring buildings, such as the Wishing Well, now count as culture buildings and can receive Neighborly Help.
  • The horizontal scroll bar in the Research Tree was removed and animations upon selecting another chapter have been adjusted to allow for a more smooth transition.
  • Game and forum accounts now have a stronger connection, meaning that the forum account name changes if a player account had to be renamed by support and that account deletions now also extend to forum accounts. E-Mail address and password for forum accounts are not being synced, however, and need to be adjusted manually.

Bug Fixes



As with every update, we've resolved a number of bugs, among which:

  • Fellowship Adventures - Sentient Goods productions requested for quests in Fellowship Adventures now always require the same amount of time compared to their counterparts of regular productions.
  • Chat - Player names should now always be displayed in the in-game chat.

Mobile



Note: the app version of the update is released separately from the browser version.

  • iPhone X is now officially supported, meaning that the user interface scales properly and the whole screen is used.
  • Fellowship - The button to apply for a Fellowship no longer sometimes says "join" instead, if the Fellowship is not set to open.
  • Instants - The duration of Boosters were not displayed properly upon loading the Boosters for the first time. They now know their durations again.
  • Translations - Fixed several missing translations and removed rogue special characters in the overview of your own trades.
