Release Notes
Dear Humans and Elves,
We will have a temporary downtime on Thursday, February 7 in order to roll out version 1.72 on to our server. Please check back for any further updates regarding this release.
During the expected downtime, you will not be able to access the game. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
New Features
- It's now possible to receive a brand-new Magic Chess Set through Crafting! The four-piece set will be a great decoration, and provide nice bonuses for your city as well. Of course, you'll have to be lucky to get the right recipe, so make sure to check out Crafting regularly to not miss it. Will you be the first to complete the set?
Improvements
- We've made some changes to the way the game is loaded, which also resolves problems for players playing Elvenar in the Safari browser.
Bug Fixes
As with every update, we've resolved a number of bugs, among which:
- Crafting - Resolved a problem where some areas in the game couldn't be clicked.
- Wishing Well - Fixed an issue where avatars would be continuously displayed over an already expired Wishing Well if it was helped by a Neighbor.
- Wishing Well - Made sure the Wishing Well is animated when visiting another player's city.
- HTML5 - The in-game news window didn't always show the full text that would be expected when playing the game in HTML5.
Mobile
Note: the app version of the update is released separately from the browser version.
- Wholesaler - Resolved a bug where the timer until the next reset in the Wholesaler could be off.
- Fellowships - It was possible that the default Fellowship banner was shown instead of the banner a Fellowship had chosen.
