Season of Triumph starts with failure

I am sorry you dislike or refuse to use Discord, however, it is the official repository for game-related items going forward. I must refer players to provide Feedback or Bug reports etc to Discord.
Nothing personal Astram. But again, it was pushed on players against their will, something Inno has been doing more and more often lately.
I do know it's not a democracy, but going against the wishes of your playerbase constantly just isn't a good policy.
Lately I have come to see this game as less and less entertaining. Had I not been the AM and been feeling responsible to guide our FS through all the crap lately I already would have quit.
As it is, I have stopped paying and buying items for a while now. And I used to be a pretty big spender with multiple cities on multiple servers, ALL paying small amounts and the 2 major cities spending money regularly. So if I look at it over the years I can safely say I spent several thousends on the game. No regrets, that was my choice, but these actions from Inno have strangled that source of revenue for themselves.
Some more of these deliberate actions to drive away players may completely put me over the edge and decide that since my money apparently isn't wanted I'll take it somewhere else. Which will not be an Inno-game, that much is certain.

I don't know whether it is Inno's Dev team or the management or both and frankly, I don't really care either. But the constant refusal to listen to the players, (no, not just me, but there are, or at least were before they got chased off, quite a lot of players feeling this way). The constant shafting of players and then trying to stick it to them again is very quickly wearing down what was left of the love of the game and whatever goodwill there used to be.
And yes, I know hearing this kind of ranting must be tiring for you. But it comes from someone who loved this game, invested HUGE amounts of money and time into it and now feels Inno is -despite all the crappy words they are spouting about their plans for future chapters- deliberately trying to drive players away so they can blame it on 'lack of interest' to shut it down.
I am looking at the actions, not the words. And the actions taken in the last months really does not show any real interest of the company to keep this game going. It only seems designed to make it harder on players and not in a good way as in 'more interesting and thus more rewarding when I do accomplish things' harder, but harder to keep anything going.

@Dhurrin No worries I never take anything here personally, its all bits and bytes. I do provide my feedback directly to the CM's and others when asked but in the forums and Discord. I do my best to provide a fair response to all. Now does that mean I agree with all the changes, certainly not. Do I disagree with all the changes, of course not. I look at them from a player standpoint with my cities in multiple chapters from 5 up and can assess how I would be affected by each. Even for cities in the same chapter, the effects are not the same, Style of play, race, city setup, Troops, goods, Wonders and every other small thing has an effect. My explanation is so you can see why I am not of a fixed opinion either good or bad to changes past or proposed.
