how do you unlock and place rewards from season of triumph?

You can claim rewards once you have accumulated enough event currency through completion of daily or weekly quests. There will be a green "claim" button beneath an award you have gained enough currency to claim. Then if it is a building or spell it will appear in your Spells Inventory; troops will be added to your military camp and resources will be added to your inventory.
You have to purchase a Season Pass to access certain prizes, which have the little x on top and will not have a claim button even after you've accumulated the required event currency. To purchase the Season Pass you can click the green unlock button on the Rewards screen and it will take you to a screen where you pay cash for the pass.
