Simple Knowledge Point Equation

With all the talk about whether or not its wise to purchase KPs
It reminded me of these formulas that were shared on FoE
I changed some numbers to reflect Elvenar values

Calculating The Amount of Knowledge Points Purchased in Total

For Variables, let...

x = The current cost for the next knowledge point
n = The amount of knowledge points you have purchase

X - 500
------------ = N
500

1,367,000 - 500 = 1,366,500
1,366,500/500 = 2733 total amount purchased with gold

Basically you subtract 500 from x then divide that # by 500 to find the value of N
Gold # value is 500
For goods change # value to
Tier 1 # is 40
Tier 2 # is 20
Tier 3 # is 10

Calculating Costs For The Next Set of Knowledge Points

Now here is another handy formula . It helps you calculate how many coins will be spent on the next certain amount of knowledge points you wish to buy. This works with any value representing the variables, and can even help you determine how many coins you spent on knowledge points!

x = The total cost for the next set of knowledge points you buy
n = The amount of knowledge points you are purchasing
s = Starting cost of your knowledge point

x = n (250n + s - 250)

Gold is # value is 250
For Goods change # value to
Tier 1 # 20
Tier 2 # 10
Tier 3 # 5

Now here is an example showing how many coins I have spent on knowledge points in total. Note that this requires the solution to the first equation so that you can plug in for the variable 'n'.
x = 2733 (250(2733) + 500 - 250)

x = 2733 (683250 + 500 - 250)

x = 2733 (683750 - 250)

x = 2733 ∙ 683500

x = 1,744,970,500 is the total amount of gold I have spent for KPs

Edit: Now after thoroughly reading this, I see that these are equations to tell you how many you have purchased. Too bad the KP calc doesn't allow this either.. Math too hard haha!
