Yeah, you can imagine a cutting edge song with politically pointed lyrics might get a few players irate. The problem of people not being able to discuss things without their personal emotional state becoming the driving force of their comments is hard on forums and most just avoid the problem by banning political talk.

Still, here's a very old ditty based upon the old "Toy's are Us" melody "I don't want to grow up," I find humorous. It's not nearly as political today as it was when I grew up, so hopefully I won't get in too much trouble for posting it. Please, if you are offended, do let me know and I'll just pull it immediately.

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Pentagon kid
They got a million missiles that I can play with,
The got ship and trains and nuclear planes, every kind of weapon there is
I don't wanna grow up, 'cause if I did, I wouldn't be a Pentagon kid"

The sentiments of this ditty are not my own but I have found it to be one of those little things that stuck in my head.
