Spire of Eternity feedback

Playing today I had a few encounters where both battles were either all mages and archers, or all mages and heavies. Which made it easy to autofight with all light melee in the first instance, or all mages in the second.
And this was on the second tier.
Maybe it means nothing, or maybe they are trying to make it a bit less painful.
Also got several bonus chests this week.

I have noticed that as well, though I have not had the same luck with the bonus chests.

They need players to want to play it. As it runs now, players can deploy martial boost buildings that cover all of either the spire or the tournament, and almost all of the other. if they were off-set, any martial boost buildings wouldn't be available for about half of one or the other. Personally, I think the overlap is good for players. Someone who's organized can plan a Tournament push and a Spire push in the same week, and do very well in both.

Sorry to hear in places that people are having problems getting the Teleport Spell, but I am getting sick of getting them. Yes, yes, eventually they will be useful, and I have used to of them, but in general they are accumulating. It's difficult to use them, I find, on any of my buildings because I favor pop/cult hybrids so whatever I might use them on it hits me bad on pop. This is making me rethink my strategy and shift to more big culture only buildings as i move onward into the Chapters that come after Orcs and Goblins.

@mikeledo when I used the Teleport Spell I lose all of the pop/culture from it while it is in my inventory. Then if you redeploy it you gain back the pop/cult like any other building. It's really funky to see your Orc house sitting there in your inventory staring back at you.

Thanks for that info. It's very helpful!
Add my name to the list of people not getting the spell yet.

I would think not, but interesting if you could.

A magic residence is under the summoning tab, and can be disenchanted; so I do not see why a teleported building cannot be disenchanted. The spell shards gained would have to do with the number of squares it occupies. This concept may be why buildings were given a 50% reduction in both crafting cost and disenchant value.

I get buildings that are from the summoning tab, but regular constructed buildings, I would have my doubts. But again I have not used my lone teleport as of yet, and am just guessing. Do buildings get placed on the summoning tab when teleported?

It would be nice if there was a little better balance between frequency of cc spells and spell fragments. The spell fragments come in way too easy and stockpile in mass quantities so they quickly become useless because cc spells are the road block. A slightly better balance between the 2 would be good so the prizes are more functional. MA crafting has its own set of road blocks so an improved balance between the 2 items intended for crafting would be good. They could always double the CC spells from spire :p but I don't see that happening and even then the spell fragments would outstrip the cc spells.

Hmm .. yes that is odd ... I wonder why those specialist training facilities aren't an option with the teleport spell??

It is to prevent you from having more than one of them. Likewise for guest race buildings, the portal can never be teleported, but many other buildings that do not have restrictions on their number can be.

So the main things you cannot teleport:

1) Expiring buildings
2) Buildings that are restricted in quantity
3) Main Hall (could be under point two, except you never build it)
4) Evolving Buildings

This is the worst addition to Elvenar that INNO has ever come up with. I'm a pretty good fighter and after the first round to the top the challenge is rediculous. I get that you need people to spend money so that you can continue development but wasting thousands of troops for 25 or 75 diamonds is just not worth it. I was playing it to get the full set of the moonstone set but I'm so done. The teleport spell is always a higher percentage to win and I've played the special chests again and again and never get it. Just diamonds. Waste of time!!!!!!!!

Once you get the advanced technologies, have a fire phoenix fed, and have some military ancient wonders, then the first floor of the spire isn't all that bad, and may help rather than hurt your tournament performance with the occasional dwarven armorer you can receive. Also the moonstone library set is nice in that it produces combining catalysts and spell shards for your crafting needs.
