"Surplus" Spire Pts for Spire Archive

How is the number of stored spire points determined when a FS has in place the 3rd level spire archive (150 pt storage) perk? With that perk in place and zero pts in storage, if a FS scores exactly 1330 pts for gold, there are still zero stored points, right? But if the FS scored 1350 pts for gold, there would be 20 “surplus” points placed into storage, right? What if the FS scores only 1000 pts and received a silver trophy (only requiring 520); would 480 pts be placed into storage? If not, how are surplus points determined for storage in the spire archive?

No.

There is a FS chest at 880 points and another at 1080. If you got exactly 1,000 then you would bank 120 (1000-880)

Sure, just open the Spire and check out the purple thermometer-looking thing on the left and mouse over the "crystals" (FS chests) on the side.
You won't be able to see how many points are needed for the first few if you've already reached them, but floors 2&3 are
