While I'm not happy that people weren't notified (seems Beta knew) and were adversely affected, I was online when it started early and quite liked it. In my time zone (Pacific), I have to wait until 10 am on the first day and starting at 8 am is much more to my liking. But still, if Beta had already experienced this, it should have been a known issue and if not fixed yet, announced to Live.

So far as I am aware - I play on 3 servers, EN, Beta and US - the only server not affected this week was Beta but we already had this error, for two weeks.
See the trouble is that the people who might have provided an explanation were fired, and obviously the one person left, is overwhelmed and *remainder of comment self edited*.

my spire counter says it starts at 9am CST. isn't that early? wasnt it 10am? or have i lost that part of my mind?

See, this is what I said earlier. InnoGames parted company with 75 employees recently, including a number of individuals whose titles were 'Community Management Specialists'. The CMS' job was to liaise between the staff and the Development team. Our CMS was Giada, and she has been let go. Now there is one person, where previously there were 10ish (Timo was also cut, the guy from the Perk video).
The true answer is, they don't know. Beta had this bug for two weeks, and apparently we can expect the same.

Whew! I would be much more concerned if Timon was gone! So many companies are laying off people recently.
All that Covid time growth of everything done from home has to adjust back to 'normal' sooner or later. I'm not going to get worried about Inno just yet.

But you play on EN1, right? Because I do as well and tourney ended there at the regular time. There are also no complaints about it on the EN forum. So to me it seems only US servers were affected.

Lol did it? I was all finished early anyhow, spent the last 2 hours on Beta playing the Floral event.

Yup, my timer says it'll start at 10 am Pacific in Ceravyn as usual. Oh well, I had a brief moment of something to my liking.
